This is my first official post on my blog... I am very excited to properly start up this website and hopefully fulfil my dream of being a music journalist!

About Me

I am a student journalist at Northumbria University who is extremely passionate about music, writing, and the media. Wherever I go, I always want to be involved with the music scene, and this is how I want to do it.

I love all kinds of music... from rock to pop, pop to classical, and classical to rap, my passion is for all different kinds of music, so I want to speak to as many artists as I can and help them get their own message out.

I am very passionate about Newcastle and the North East, and as I am currently a student here, Sound of the Toon will mostly focus on artists and events happening here... HOWEVER!

I would love to also speak to artists that plan to perform in Newcastle or surrounding areas, no matter where you are from.

This is the beginning!

I believe the Northern music scene has so much to offer, so many fresh new sounds in all different corners of music. I hope Sound of the Toon can be of service to artists breaking onto the scene, or even at the top of the scene, and anywhere in the middle.
